Summary

High school: All high school athletes should register for the open team - We will have a Varsity, JV, and practice/scrimmage only teams. All high school athletes are welcome to attend try outs for the Varsity and JV team, however, only athletes who have registered for the open team and have active USAU Membership are eligible to attend try outs. Official teams will be formed during the first week of practice. If an athlete does not make a team, we encourage them to attend our practice and scrimmages as there may be opportunities to play in tournaments as the season progresses.

Description

High School Team Our Open Team is open to all 9th-12th athletes. No experience is necessary. The number and type of teams we form will depend on the number of high school athletes who register. If you are eager to learn and ready to have fun, we will teach you everything you need to know!  Some tournaments will require an additional fee to be determined by the number of players that can attend.   Who:     Open Teams When:   JV and Varsity Team Tryouts March 4th 4:00 - 5:30 pm at Ashbury Park March 5th 4:00 - 5:30 pm at Ashbury Park Practices Begin March 9th               Mondays        4:30 pm - 6:30 pm at Ashbury Park               Wednesdays  4:30 pm - 6:30 pm at Ashbury Park               Thursdays      4:30 pm - 6:30 pm at Ashbury Park    Cost: $330 + USAU Membership ($20) Uniforms: Varsity: There are new uniforms for the spring season. There is no charge for the new uniform thanks to a generous donation. JV: We will be using the same uniforms. If you are new to the club, these can be purchased after a uniform number has been assigned. Our bundles are $110 and include Dark and Light Jerseys, A rReversible Jersey, Shorts, and a Hat. You can also purchase these items individually. At minimum, JV players should have a reversible and shorts. Practice Only Players: No uniform is needed, but you are welcome to purchase one Included Tournaments: CHSUL (Chicagoland High School Ultimate League) - Wednesdays beginning April 8th Neuqua Knockout, Rockford, IL             - Saturday, May 9th and Sunday, May 10th HS State                                                 - Weekend of May 30th-31st (One day TBD) Potential Additional Fee Tournaments: Each travel tournament has an expected additional fee range of $100-$200 depending on the number of players attending. We do offer different pricing options for each tournament (depending on the athlete’s hotel preference - staying with a parent, one-night, and two-night hotel stay). Varsity Anticipated Add-On Travel Tournaments: River Campus Classic, Nashville, TN **               - Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29th                                 Indy Invite, Indianapolis, IN                           - Saturday, April 11th and Sunday, April 12th Madison Mudbath,  Madison, WI               - Saturday, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th Nationals (if selected) Oregon - Friday, June 12th and Saturday, June 13th ** Nashville is an invite only tournament. Practices for Nashville begin Feb 15th. Coaches will be communication this information to those invited soon. JV Anticipated Add-On Tournament: High School Meltdown Chicago, IL. - April (TBD) Registration is open at NVUltimate.com until 3/9/26.
